ANSWER TO LAST WEEKS QUESTION:
The layout of the centre of Melbourne central business district is known as?

D. The Hoddle Grid

The Hoddle Grid is the contemporary name given to the grid of streets that form the central business district of Melbourne Australia. Bounded by Flinders Street, Spring Street, La Trobe Street, and Spencer Street, it lies at an angle to the rest of the Melbourne suburban grid, and so is easily recognisable. It is named after the surveyor Robert Hoddle, who marked it out in 1837 (to Lonsdale Street, extended to La Trobe Street the next year), establishing the first formal town plan. (Source: Wikipedia)

MEET TOM

________________________________________

Meet Tom. He is a project manager for a commercial building company.

He’s been successful over the years but is now facing issues competing with new industry trends, rising on site labour costs and the challenges of building cost effectively. After doing some research, Tom came across a solution that helped him get his projects back on time and on budget.

Here is Tom’s story:

BUILD WITH STEEL – FAQ’S

________________________________________

Are specialised trade skills required to install and work with LGS framing?
Steel framing is gaining traction as the material of choice which means tradies are becoming more experienced working with steel. For plasterers the straight, true lines make their job easier and the work of electricians and plumbers is also simplified thanks to the pre-punched service holes. The frames themselves are generally installed by qualified carpenters who are skilled in working with both timber and steel.

How can I be sure that LGS framing is a high quality construction material?
All our LGS framing is manufactured and engineered with precision using the latest technology. The accurate dimensions ensure the walls are straight and true and because steel frames won’t twist, warp or shrink over time, the ongoing maintenance is minimal. Steel framing is naturally strong with an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio.
